Welcome to Plateyo. By accessing or using our mobile application and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Plateyo is a recipe sharing and meal planning platform that allows users to:

• Generate AI-powered recipes and images

• Follow other users and interact with their content
• Access premium features through paid subscriptions
• Discover daily featured recipes

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4.2 Billing

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
• Payment is processed through Stripe or platform-specific payment systems (Apple, Google)
• You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• After cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period

4.4 Free Trial

We may offer free trial periods for paid subscriptions. At the end of the trial period, your payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including recipes, comments, and images ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with the Service.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Contain harmful, threatening, abusive, or offensive material
• Contain spam, advertising, or promotional content
• Contain false or misleading information
• Contain malicious code or viruses

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without notice.

5.4 AI-Generated Content

Recipes and images generated using our AI features are subject to the same terms as User Content. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may not always be accurate, safe, or suitable for consumption.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other user accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Collect or store personal data of other users

6.1 Rate Limiting and Usage Restrictions

To maintain service quality, prevent abuse, and ensure fair access for all users, we implement the following usage restrictions:

• Limits on AI generation requests based on your subscription tier
• Anti-spam measures including content filtering, keyword detection, and automated abuse prevention
• Temporary or permanent restrictions on accounts that exceed usage limits or violate content policies

We reserve the right to:

• Monitor usage patterns to detect and prevent abuse, spam, or malicious activity
• Automatically limit or throttle requests that exceed normal usage patterns
• Reject or remove content that violates our spam detection policies
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate rate limits or abuse the Service
• Modify rate limits and usage restrictions at any time without prior notice

Exceeding these limits or attempting to circumvent them may result in temporary restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination of service access. Users will receive appropriate error messages when rate limits are reached. We may provide warnings before taking enforcement action, but this is not guaranteed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plateyo and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Food safety issues, allergic reactions, or health problems

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plateyo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
